My approach
My practice is relational, experiential, and feminist. I believe that meaningful change happens through experience, not insight alone. Therapy with me is an active, collaborative process shaped by presence and close attention to what unfolds in the moment. Over time, patterns that once felt automatic become visible, workable, and open to choice.
I have worked with people across cultures, countries, and life paths, and I bring a broad, non-pathologizing perspective to our conversations. Beneath our differences, people want to love and be loved, to feel safe, and to live with a sense of agency and meaning. Our work focuses on identifying and removing the internal and relational blocks that keep you from living in alignment with your values.
This approach is especially well-suited for people for people who have outgrown traditional talk therapy or who feel stuck despite being highly self-aware. By working somatically and relationally, we address patterns where they are actually held—in the nervous system—so change can be integrated and embodied, rather than simply understood. I will guide you through emotional and physiological experiences with care and precision, helping you reconnect to your internal signals and respond rather than react. You gain the clarity to move through life with greater self-trust, depth, and intention.
Existential questions often arise in this process: Who am I? What am I moving toward? What needs to change? We approach these edges with curiosity and patience for your process. Growth here is not about self-improvement, it’s about integration. Healing means changing how we do things in the world, how we feel about ourselves, and how we feel about the things that have happened to us. Life moves fast—when we can slow down together, we can be intentional about our choices and gentle with ourselves.
I work with adolescents (13+), adults, and couples navigating depression, anxiety, addiction, self worth, relational patterns, and identity transitions. I believe in the innate capacity of human beings to heal; my role is to help create the conditions where that capacity can emerge. My approach is holistic, integrating body, mind, and meaning, while remaining grounded in neuroscience and attachment theory.
Who I work with
In practice since 2019, I work with individuals and couples who are ready for meaningful change and want to engage therapy at a deeper level. My work often resonates with people who are creative, high-functioning, or living outside of conventional norms, and especially those who are seeking felt shifts in their internal and external lives. This kind of therapy is highly effective for those who want to understand their conditioning not just intellectually, but viscerally.
I work with couples who are willing to slow down, become vulnerable, and take responsibility for the patterns that keep them stuck. Together, we focus on rebuilding safety, responsiveness, and trust, so that secure love become something you can feel, not just talk about. My practice is kink-informed, sex work-positive, and affirming of polyamorous/ENM relationships.
I also work extensively with queer individuals and couples, including those navigating nontraditional identities and family structures. Many of the queer clients I support are successful in some parts of their lives, yet still find themselves carrying stress, relational strain, or a sense of disconnection from themselves. My work offers a space where complexity is welcomed and your experience is explored, not explained.
Before private practice, I worked in community mental health and addiction treatment, supporting adolescents and adults with trauma, substance use, and mood disorders. I have led recovery groups for marginalized communities and bring a grounded, holistic lens to complex histories. Outside the therapy room, I’m shaped by my long-term vipassana meditation practice, music and movement, and time outdoors. I have also lived and worked abroad as a Peace Corps volunteer and journalist. These experiences continue to inform my respect for resilience, cultural context, and the healing forces of creativity and nature. It would be an honor to help you find your way home.
